We’re proud to be supporting Son of Bitch Media in their boycott of the 2020 Oscars ceremony. Son of a Bitch HQ writes :

Once again, the Academy Awards is not the fucking skin color we like, even as the ceremony is touted as the pinnacle of a production or an actor’s success for some fucking reason. Being given an Oscar by those racist voters can get someone loads of money, open new doors and giving the lucky winner new opportunities to get even more cash , but how does the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ refusal to be inclusive reflect Hollywood’s broader exclusion of people from marginalized communities? Like the albinos, where the fuck are all the albinos ? And did anyone see Parasite ? There isn’t a single fucking black person in that piece of shit !!

We are saying enough is fucking enough. Just like Miley Cyrus told the Grammy’s to go fuck themselves when she wasn’t nominated, or Cynthia Erivo refusing the invitation to perform at the BAFTAs because SHE WASN’T nominated. WE have had enough. Having a single year where the nominees voted by the academy members like that tramp Meryl Streep, or that fraud Denzel Washington, is more diverse doesn’t account for a long history of nominating white, straight people at the expense of people from oppressed communities, like the albinos of Swaziland, so why should we cover an Oscars ceremony that shuts out the poor helpless communities that can’t get the job done without our fucking help ?

BSS is boycotting the Oscars. Other than a story about the nominations themselves, we will not be covering the Academy Awards. Instead, we will continue standing in solidarity with albino people and people of color, LGBTQIOPUMGTFRf6/jDBNM people, people with disabilities , immigrants, Soyboys, the lactose intolerant , Vegans and others who are creating shit art that goes straight to video , and shit like Charlies Angels and ghostbusters 2016 which loses the studios hundreds of millions of dollars. This is about MONEY !!We hope you will join us.
